Rotary

Rotary International is a global network of 1.4 million neighbors, friends, and leaders who volunteer their skills and resources to solve issues and address community needs.  The Rotary world includes Rotary clubs, Rotaractors, and those attending Interact Clubs in their school. Focus areas include:

  • Peace and conflict prevention/resolution
  • Fighting illiteracy and poverty
  • Giving access to clean water and sanitation and health
  • Disease prevention and treatment
  • Protect our planet and its resources
  • Maternal and child health
  • Economic and community development

Several Rotary and Interact clubs have been active and valued supporters of BeyondWater since the beginning. We hope your club will be too!

Are you looking for a speaker for one of your club meetings? We have presented at many clubs around the world both in-person and virtually. If you would like one of our team to present at your club, please email sharoncrean@beyondwater.global and we will schedule in a speaking opportunity.

We have identified several Rotary Clubs within East Africa who are willing to partner with other clubs to apply for Global Grants. If this is of interest to you, please email our East Africa Director, Mary Mwikali – marymwikali@beyondwater.global for more details.
How to partner with us:
  • Apply for a District Grant
  • Apply for a Global Grant
  • Send a team of Rotarians to come and build a block of toilets
  • Bring a team of volunteers to get involved with one of our projects
  • We can consult on a project you’re involved in across East Africa
  • Have us speak at your club
  • Hold a fundraiser on behalf of BeyondWater
  • Mention us in your newsletter
  • Donate a water filter for a school
When you donate, we send through photos, videos and reports of where your contribution has gone. Your clubs’ name will also go on a plaque to be displayed on the project.
